International Business Development Manager for consumer brands - Amsterdam

Wat ga je doen?

You will be primarily responsible for expanding our existing and new business, either through finding new distributors initially in Europe or expanding the collaboration with existing partners, all in pursuit of our goal to grow our business and achieve long-term success. As being the International Business Development Manager, it will be your job to generate leads together with the internal support team in all relevant territories. You are able to adapt and enhance the lead generation strategies to align with various needs and market demands. You will be following up on all generated leads while keeping the team informed on the progress. Furthermore, you will have the responsibility of achieving the budget with their existing partners who are key to the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential international leads (distributors) in 25 international markets and reach out to them
  • Leading the communication with new and existing distribution partners and liaising with internal departments to ensure these partners have adequate information and resources to sell their products
  • Build collaborative relationships with international partners thereby focusing on key accounts
  • You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote the products successfully
  • Responsible for budget

Wat vragen wij?

  • Some years working experience in the field of FMCG/ Consumer goods sector
  • Proven excellence as key account manager of business development manager (or other similar roles)
  • Enthusiastic in building new relations in order to find new resellers
  • Great communication skills and interpersonal abilities
  • Goal-oriented, persuasive and self-motivated
  • You are a confident, high-energy person with a positive attitude
  • Must be fluent in English (written and verbal) and preferably speak a second language
